Analyses the heat transfer process of the planted roof in hot-climate wind tunnel in the typical climate condition of Guangzhou by controlling the environment parameters in the wind tunnel. Based on the energy balance equation, calculates the integrated heat transfer coefficient and the equivalent thermal resistance of the planted roof. The result indicates that the equivalent thermal resistance obtained accords with that specified in the Design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings in hot summer and warm winter zone.
